Opus 4.5 silent price increase

Dear GitHub community and GitHub,
​I'm writing to ask if I am the only user who has been affected by the price of this model. I noticed that the price for Opus 4.5 was quietly increased from 1x to 3x, almost causing me to exceed my spending limit.
​I request a price review and potential reduction. Its cost is currently on par with Gemini 3 Pro and GPT 5.1 Codex Max, which maintain a 1x pricing structure.

Opus is extremely expensive to run. It does make sense.

I’ve seen is that gitHub/Billing usually doesn’t modify prices directly it depends on the provider. But if this change pushes users close to their spending limit

The best next step is to contact GitHub Support with the exact date and usage so they can verify..if more users report the same concern, they are more likely to review or adjust the pricing.

At 3x Opus is so expensive. Now that it's not as expensive on server as it was before (Opus 4.1), it should be priced somewhere at 1.5x.
