When you first start using the app, Duo will ask you how often and when you’d like to receive learning prompts.
You’ll get reminder notifications and emails at your preferred cadence, and Duo will even send you encouraging messages to help you stay motivated.

From reading and writing to listening and speaking, Duolingo offers a comprehensive learning experience in quick, easy lessons that take three to five minutes to complete.
Using the Adventure feature, you can walk the streets of the Duolingo world and engage in conversations.
Order coffee, buy food and ask for directions to the theatre, all while practising a new language in a realistic way.
Rack up the points
Completing Duolingo lessons earns you experience points (XP), which can help you climb the league rankings. Feel like studying a bit more? Subscribe to Super Duolingo to spend as much time as you’d like learning with unlimited HP.
Super Duolingo also gives you the ability to turn off ads and the option to attempt the Legend Challenge as many times as you like, without spending gems.
